GIS and remote sensing are increasing moving online. We produce interactive web maps which can be used as data portals, decision support systems or multi-media elements of websites for any user, without the need for special software.

We work extensively with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to produce analyses which assess and compile geo-spatial data, notably information derived from satellite imagery to produce informative visuals and cartography.

Conservation Technology Guidance
From camera traps to satellites to drones, conservation technology is increasingly critical to ensuring that people and nature thrive. Our aim is to help maximise the effectiveness of technology for conservation, ecological research, and citizen science by providing experienced as well as new users with accessible and freely available, peer-edited guidance.
Spatial Analysis
Spatial analysis is an essential component of risk mapping, high conservation value assessment, land use planning and mitigation of conflicts in conservation. We employ spatial models to forecast scenarios and evaluate impacts of conservation interventions.
Remote Sensing
Our team has experience in various image processing techniques including image compositing to produce cloud-free mosaics, time series analyses, classification for vegetation mapping as well as underwater habitats (coral reef and seagrass), mangrove mapping and detection of deforestation and degradation.
