WWF Space+Science is mapping the mangroves of the Rufiji Delta with satellites, drones, and mobile tech. We have developed an Android mobile app to collect consistent, error-free data, which is combined with 3-d models from drone imagery, scaled to satellite data to assess mangrove extent and condition.
